Does PC Tech Store have a physical store?
We are online only, Our business address is our home office and workshop.

Which is better? AMD or Intel?
There is no right or wrong answer here. Though there is only slight differences in this 2 horse race and its very opinionated. We conclude they would be narrowed down by suggesting AMD is a powerful budget graphics/gaming focused PC, whilst Intel is a powerful all round PC capable of more intensive tasks at the expense of a slightly higher budget, which has been the case for years. Who wins? We'll let you decide. If you are still unsure, give us a call.

What is AMD Ryzen?
Ryzen is a Processor created by AMD, new for 2017. AMD Ryzen stakes a claim to be better than anything Intel has made thus far. Which is something that has not happened factually in a long time. You would be getting an exceptionally powerful PC for less ££. Ryzen requires the new AM4 motherboard variety.

Am I limited to your options?
Not at all, you can contact us, and we'll design a special PC just for you to view on our website in minutes, with the parts that you would like which you can further customise and purchase.

Do you sell separate products?
Im afraid we only sell Full custom PC's until further notice. However we can advise you on what you should upgrade to and point you in the right direction.

Can I send you my PC Case?
Of course you can. Please generously wrap the case up in a soft protective material such as bubble wrap packed inside a secure box, and send it to: PC Tech Store, 50 Irwell Lane, Runcorn, WA7 1RP. As by default you get a case with each PC, so be sure to select the 'I already have a case which I will send' option when you choose your Case, and it will reduce the PC's total price accordingly.

Can I reduce the total cost of a PC on this store?
Yes, we are happy to provide each PC with options to reduce the total cost for you. Options such as if you already have a PC case, or even a monitor.

What ways of payment does PC Tech Store offer?
We offer customers to checkout using PayPal. With PayPal you can use your credit/debit card to pay for your products. You can use this method without a PayPal account if you don't have one, with the option to checkout as a guest.

Do you charge VAT?
We do not charge VAT on our store, as we are a business without the requirement to be VAT registered. This also means the invoice you receive upon a purchase you make, will not include a VAT sum.

Where can you deliver to?
We are UK based and serve the UK only at the moment. We will consider other countries at a later date.

How long is the whole process?
We aim to get your PC delivered within 3 days of your purchase. All parts are usually on Next-day order to us, or the following day. Your delivery is also Next-Day. This still gives us time to build, test, and send it securely to you. On the rare occasion that we cannot make the 3 day deadline, we have suggested a 3-5 day process time if the products aren't available immediately. We will keep you informed.

Can I track my order?
Yes, through the tracking email we send to your registered email address a couple of days after purchasing. We also provide a dispatch note service to let you know your order is out for delivery. It is after then you should be able to track your order with our courier UK Mail.

How long do I get to return an unused product?
You get 14 days to return unwanted/unused products. They must be in unused sealed condition. Products inside your PC cannot be returned unless faulty. The PC counts as 1 whole product. You will be refunded based on our current terms for the product if it is found to be unsealed or/and unused. We are unable to accept returns for headsets for health and safety reasons.

What if there is a problem within 30 days?
On the rare occurrence something should happen to your PC within reason, We are here to help you with repairs. You must contact us within 30 calendar days of purchasing and we can arrange a collection at our expense. We shall keep you informed of the progress. This process is generally swift and takes around 2-4 days depending on part availability and repair. A repair service can also be provided by PC Tech Guru at your location if you are local to us.

How much warranty do I get on my PC?
If your PC becomes faulty after 30 calendar days but within 3 years, should you wish to pursue this warranty, the full PC can be collected at your expense to our business address, the manufacturer shall attempt to repair or replace affected parts. Please note whilst we try give you full support during this time, we abide by manufacturers rules and warranty. It is at the discretion of the manufacturer for a replacement part. This process can take around 5-7 days and is usually exchanges between the customer and the manufacturer. The main reason for this is that they would like to ensure that their customers receive the best possible support on their own products. General wear and tear such as obvious overclocking of a cpu for example, may not be covered under manufacturers warranty. Please contact us if you require more specific details.

What happens if parts are damaged on delivery?
You should contact us within 5 days of purchase if you find damage to the parts/products inside the parcel box. Please return all goods as they arrived. Our couriers ensure that fragile products are treated with due care. We understand you may not be able to see the products inside the parcel box, but if you visibly see the damage on delivery, (such as hard-hits to the corners of the parcel box etc), we would ask that you refuse the delivery and contact us immediately as this is the most economic method, making it quicker and easier to replace any damaged parts. If you accept then then courier can no longer be at fault, so its important you make this check. However after 5 days of purchase, your PC and its contents are no longer eligible for reasons of damage on delivery.
